Preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup
Infomatika signed a contract for supply of access control system for AL Rayan stadium under construction in Qatar. The 40,000-seat stadium is one of the eight 2022 FIFA World Cup venues.During the tender, the company confirmed its world leadership in production of specialized equipment and software for ticketing systems and won the international tender with leading German, Austrian, American, Italian, Turkish, and other companies. The numerous tests and presentations have confirmed the compliance of the product quality with all the stated requirements. The checks during the inspection visit by the customer's representatives in Kazan confirmed the production capabilities and reliability of quality control.
Qatar is one of the most difficult countries in the world in terms of weather conditions – the combination of heat, humidity and sand dust puts forward the most stringent requirements for the equipment supplied. Therefore, a lot of work was done to adapt the Horizon turnstiles, Navigare automated gates to the objectives and requirements of not only FIFA, but also the specifics of Qatar.
The world championship in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022 in seven cities: Doha, Lusail, al Wakrah, Al Khor, Al Rayyan, Umm Salal, and Ash Shamal.
