The high-tech smart gateway turnstile made of stainless steel and tempered impact-resistant glass is designed to facilitate automated access control at critical facilities with high security requirements. It consisting of two pairs of blocking elements - gates (extra-height swing leaves) which open sequentially in automatic mode.

Two-factor access is used to pass through the smart gateway turnstile:

  • At the first gate, either of the traditional identification methods is used: contactless cards, all types of bar/QR codes, BLE and NFC tags. The electronic pass is to be tapped on the reader. If the identification is successful, the system opens the leaves and lets the person in the gateway into the biometric identification zone,the entrance leaves close.

  • The second gate is designed to verify the pass data against the employee's biometric parameters (for example, a face or fingerprint).There is a visual recognition camera inside the gateway.

  • Sensors built inside the gateway monitor that only one person makes the passage.

If all the requirements are met, i.e. the pass data matches the biometrics data and the system has determined that only one person is inside the gateway, access is allowed. The exit gate opens and the visitor can enter the facility. In case of abnormal situations, e.g., when personal identification data does not match the pass or if two people are trying to access using one pass, the smart turnstile blocks the intruder in the lock chamber.

Thus, two key rules are fulfilled:

No. 1 - The admission card belongs to the person who passes through it.

No. 2 - Only one person passes through the gateway.

Simultaneous opening of two gates is possible only in emergency evacuation mode.

Options for turnstiles of the “Flagman” series:

  • Built-in card-receiver - сan be installed in the left and center racks "For Exit". They are equipped with protection against phishing, sensors for the presence and overflow of the card acceptance bin.
  • UPS 120Wh - uninterruptible power supply based on LiFePO4 batteries, does not require maintenance for 15 years, is equipped with a battery condition monitoring system. The UPS ensures operation of the turnstile for 2 hours. Is installed one per passage - in the right or central racks.


  • This is not just a turnstile, but a full-featured IP device, with all components (controller, reader, software, biometric cameras) pre-installed in the turnstile. Reliable, convenient, aesthetically pleasing.

  • The full-featured integrated access control software allows the gateway to both work independently, without connecting to an external ACS, and easily integrate with any external information systems, e.g., with a pass payment system, document management system, any facility access control system, etc. The smart gateway turnstiles can be controlled using hardware / software remotes. User friendly and simple control interface + API for connecting an external ACS.
  • Multiple identification factors allow using any method of passage through the turnstile - contactless cards, all types of bar/QR codes, biometric data (for example, face), BLE and NFC tags, as well as configuring multi-factor access by several parameters.
  • The turnstiles have built-in facial recognition IP cameras and are compatible with most renowned visual recognition solutions.
  • Visitor Management System (VMS) allows quick and easy execution and approval of a pass application which is sent to the visitor's smartphone in the form of a QR code. It is important that the system works in parallel with the facility's main ACS. The system does not replace the ACS, but complements and enhances its capabilities.The joint use of a smart turnstile and a one-time pass system provides for full automation of visitors' access to the facility.

  • A bright color screen communicates graphic and video messages, e.g. ticket status, access permission or the reason for denial of passage, any service messages, etc.
  • Intelligent light indication shows the passage direction/visitor category/ unauthorized passage attempt.
  • The built-in ACS controller automatically switches between online and offline modes and downloading changes from an external system enables the smart gateway turnstile to continue operating even in the event of a communication or power outage.
  • High throughput. Instant triggering when the identifier is presented.

Complies with the transport security requirements approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969 of September 26, 2016 and can be used to build an access control system at transport infrastructure facilities.
