The Tatar State Drama Theatre in Naberezhnye Chelny is a unique cultural center founded in 1980. This is the only theater in the city where performances are staged exclusively in the Tatar language. The repertoire includes more than 30 works by Tatar and Russian authors, as well as children's performances. The theater actively participates in the cultural life of the city and the region, holding festivals, tours and cooperating with other institutions.
