In preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Infomatika equipped the Samara Arena football Stadium, the Krylya Sovetov football team home arena, with an advanced ticket and access control system and a spectator access control system.

Infomatika was contracted by FIFA Ticketing to deploy an access control system at the 2018 World Cup stadiums and provide full preparation and technical support of an access system for everyone during the Championship.

The stadium hosted 6 matches of the 2018 World Cup: 4 group stage matches and last 16 and last 8 matches.

Fans from Russia, Uruguay, Denmark, Australia, Costa Rica, Serbia, Senegal, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, and England cheered on their national teams from the stands of the new 45,000 seating capacity arena. During the 2018 World Cup matches, Infomatika engineers were at the stadium helping to provide technical support for the access system.

The stadium equipment project included:


  • detailed design;

  • installation of the LENTA ACS hardware and software package;
  • building the Krylya Sovetov FC ticket system;
  • LENTA ACS application software adaptation to the FIFA requirements;
  • development and introduction of ticket operator, FIFA accreditation system, and WC 2018 Fan ID system interfacing buses;
  • introduction of integration solutions for third-party ticket operators to work in the championship legacy mode;
  • installation of pedestal half-height turnstiles - 88 pcs;
  • installation of full-height turnstiles - 87 pcs;
  • installation of automated gates – 26 pcs;
  • full-height one-pass turnstile gate for handicapped people - 7 pcs;
  • supply of mobile Lenta-Linea Pro NFC ticket check terminals for investigation team – 3 pcs;
  • installation of cashier automated workstations (AWS) – 9 pcs; manager AWS – 3 pcs; accreditation AWS – 3 pcs; NCC AWS – 2 pcs;
  • commissioning.

The Solidarnost Samara Arena is the home stadium of the Krylya Sovetov FC. Seating capacity 45,000 people. The stadium was designed specifically for FIFA World Cup 2018. The stadium hosted 6 matches Fans from Russia, Uruguay, Denmark, Australia, Costa Rica, Serbia, Senegal, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, and England cheered on their on their national teams from the stands of the new 45,000 seating capacity arena. The Arena's facade is a 60 meters high steel dome which gives the facility a space-age appearance. The project is unparalleled in the world and is symbolic for Samara, the city of advanced aviation and space technologies. The Arena has an outdoor playing area. The steel frame of the bearing structures makes the form of the visor canopy over the stands which protects the spectator seats from rain and snow.

The first match of the Russian Premier League was played at the Samara Arena on July 31, 2018. As part of the first round, Krylia RPL hosted Moscow CSKA players. The match that ended in a goalless draw was attended by 39,137 fans.

On April 1, 2021, the stadium was renamed to Solidarnost Arena. On July 1, 2021, the stadium was renamed to Solidarnost Samara Arena.
