UGMK ARENA, Ekaterinburg

The UGMK Ice Arena is a unique multifunctional center that brings together the city's sports and cultural life. The high-tech equipment enables the complex to be transformed to host top class events in 11 sports and large-scale congress events, as well as be used as a 15,000 seating capacity concert and entertainment venue. In addition, it is the home arena of the famous Avtomobilist hockey club. 

The facility meets the high requirements of sports bodies such as the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), and the International Handball Federation (IHF). This guarantees that both competitors and spectators will be comfortable and safe while the competitions are conducted at the highest level.

Infomatika has equipped the sports arena with the modern Lenta ticketing and access control system, performing a full range of work to automate ticket sales and access control.

• Introduction of Lenta-Sport TSACS
  

Lenta-Sport TSACS is a professional point system designed to fully automate all procedures linked to the sale of individual tickets, season passes, and associated services during sporting and entertainment events. The system is included in the register of Russian software. All tickets in the system are sold in a single ticketing space. No restrictions on sales channels. Apart from sales, it allows managing all TSACS equipment – turnstiles, gates, ticket terminals, mobile ticket offices and scanners, etc.

• Organization of a ticket access control system
  

The arena's entrance space is equipped with Vector Plus half-height smart turnstiles and extra-height Vector Gates. The turnstiles are made of stainless steel and tempered glass. Multiple identification factors allow using any method of passage through the turnstile – contactless cards, all types of bar/QR codes, biometric data (for example, face), BLE and NFC tags, as well as configure multi-factor access by several parameters.

Stewards use Mobile Lenta Data Terminals to check tickets as additional access control equipment.

Infomatika has engineered and launched an online ticket sales store to match the facility's corporate style.

• Integration with related systems
  

The work scope included integration with third-party sales agents and a facial recognition system. Integration with external ticket agents allows selling tickets both through the facility's ticket offices and the official online ticket store and through ticket operators.
