GKU AO "Administration of affairs", Arkhangelsk

GKU AO Administration of Affairs is Arkhangelsk Region government's public institution. It delivers a variety of projects to ensure the region's sustainable development, such as monitoring the condition of facilities and passenger transportation management to ensure the public transport accessibility.

The project involved:

• Manufacture, supply and installation of Contour Bio half-height double-leaved smart turnstiles – 2 passways (3 posts);
  

The stylish, high-tech double-leaved smart turnstiles are made of stainless steel and tempered impact-resistant glass. The turnstiles provide access via contactless cards, barcode/QR code, and biometric parameters. Like all turnstiles, Infomatika turnstiles are intelligent devices that can be seamlessly integrated at the software level with other information and security systems.

• Manufacture, supply and commissioning of Concept DUO automated servodriven gates, 2 pcs.
  

The extra-wide passway allows access for handicapped people and visitors with strollers.

• Integration with related systems. Introduction of a One-time Pass System (OPS).
  

Additionally, the facility has implemented a one-time pass system (OPS), enabling automated guest pass issuance.

A visitor has only to send an online application on the institution's website and receive a unique QR coded guest pass on his smartphone to pass through the turnstiles.

By allowing visitors to take approved actions, the implementation of the One-Time Pass System greatly streamlines the visitor access process and boosts the facility's security. The workscope involved the integration of the smart turnstiles with the facility's existing access control system.
