FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022
On November 23, 2022, the Ahmed bin Ali stadium in Qatar hosted its second of seven FIFA World Cup matches. The game featured the national teams of Belgium and Canada
Our specialists attended the Ahmed bin Ali stadium, providing technical support for the access control system. The system is operating normally. Let us recall that Infomatika is the only Russian vendor of the Spectators Electronic Access Control System (LENTA SEACS), that took part in the preparation and holding of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The project of equipping the Ahmad bin Ali stadium was delivered in record-breaking time.
In four months, more than 120 pieces of access control equipment were produced and delivered to the Customer. Despite the impossibility of onsite presence at such an important event due to еру 2020 coronavirus restrictions, the company was able to provide remote technical support for the system installation by delegating the final installation to local partners under a dedicated contract.
In total, 94 Horizon smart turnstiles, 30 Navigator automated smart gates, and a premium Contour Classic turnstile were installed on the inner perimeter of the 40-thousandth stadium. VIP spectators' tickets were checked using manual mobile scanners. LENTA SEACS was successfully integrated with the FIFA ticketing system. The system meets all the requirements of the International Federation of Association Football and is adapted to the climatic features of Qatar, i.e. heat, sand dust, and high humidity. These are the only Russian IP65 rated turnstiles.
