Results of the 2022 World Cup
The LENTA SEACS spectator access control system installed at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium performed flawlessly at the FIFA World Cup held from November 20 to December 18, 2022 in Qatar.
In total, seven matches took place at the stadium, including the 1/8 final match between the national teams of Argentina and Australia.
According to the rules of the International Association Football Federation (FIFA), during the preparation for the championship and before each match, the entire system must be tested to ensure its functionality and the operation of all end devices: each turnstile, reader, mobile terminal, all AWS connected to the system.
The systems are tested both the day before the game and on the day of the event in order to ensure a level of reliability that meets the FIFA standards.Therefore, on the match days, our specialists attended the stadium to provide technical support for the system, which, to its credit, operated faultlessly.
In total, during the championship period, the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium was visited by more than 200,000 spectators. The tournament organizers were completely satisfied with the access control systems operation at the stadium.
